Earth Hour 2009

This event came to be quite a known one cos the Earth is in danger. I feel it's good if this could be some monthly thing, or even best daily.

Though sometimes people are tired of living and would rather see the 'light', i think no one would want to die so pathetic cos of the end of the world. Well i don't want to. At least die nice nice la.

Every little creature in every minute of life, they are just fighting for a very simple thing - survival. Be contented with what you have cos i felt so fortunate when the lights are on.

Yesterday, I had no lights/power supply for an hour. Did you?

Friday

It was a little mahjong session before Chomp Chomp on Friday. Yes, EAT again! This eating habit makes me determined to get myself some exercise soon!

Anyway had a good time there, especially the 5 dollars. Was thinking where to let it fly - goreng pisang, satay, prata, ice-cream + need top up a little more. The first few were quite 'bu san bu si' cos they will leave us with undividable change. Lol..

Was quite hilarious when a tortoise/terrapin exactly costs us $5. Hahaha. Too bad no available seats at the ice-cream place and we went to Liquid Kitchen in the end.




Quite not worth for the money cos we only had cocktails which were expensive and little, plus we don't really drink. Haha. Funny stuff and all.

Fighting Spiders

Since i have nothing to do currently, i think it's time to promote something. It's the upcoming drama Fighting Spiders. Actually i seldom get my eyes on Channel 5 programs but this time i will. Cos it's my bro!! And this blockbuster drama is quite highly promoted so i guess it would be nice.

Ah, was intending to post outdated pics on my grandma's small birthday celebration. I lost them. It's ok, nothing i can do. Lol. Anyway i call it special cos we specially got 71 small candles and all on the cake! What a candlish cake, all filled up with candles. Lol.

My dad just showed me a newspaper article cos it's related to my secondary school. It kinda stunned me! Nah not school on fire or any similar stuff, but anyone remember Felicia, the one who joined CO last time (went picnic with us and her cat)?

She's reported missing! It's on today's 'wan bao' which i saw.

Er... kinda weird cos i remember seeing her online a couple of days ago. No leh she's online now.

Felt like i haven't updated for a long time when it's only a few days.

Anyway, was at rx's house on Thurs with bf, yf and ch for mahjong. Yes, again. And yes i lost again! Ahhh my previous luck for mj has dissipated. Maybe it's time to 收手? Ha. Afterwhich we went for dinner and home.

Friday... gave musical night a miss. Went celebrating Yapben's birthday at Kovan's pizzahut. Yea the same song played and triggered some memories. Lol. It was still shocking leh. But anyway, happy birthday! Over to White after deciding where to go and home after.

Oh ya, another black friday. The next would be on Nov. Being a little superstitious, i guess this year won't get any better. Oh well.

Updates

Had mahjong session yesterday with ql, yf, ch and rx at my place. Lost a little. Hope to recoup my losses tomorrow! Hahah. Dinner out and home after.

Just now after bathing, i saw a weird sms from 74... bla. Knew it was 1.2 sem results, got so nervous but heaved a sigh of relief after that! Phew for no supp papers! Congrats to the three of us for having no supp too! xD

Sometimes it takes you a lifetime to find out something you wanna know. And sometimes, it also costs you a lifetime to avoid something you don't wanna know but unfortunately you know.

So what? To know or not to know? I dunno lah.

Anyway.. flashbacks of childhood memories came in the very morning when i was awake and can't get back to sleep. I remembered how overjoyed we just were when there were KFC, and Swensens' especially. Ah~ I wonder if it's my taste bud or the quality of food that had changed. Nonetheless, kids are kids. Wo bu xiang, wo bu xiang, bu xiang zhang da~! Haha.

Hmm, and i realised even when there's no school, i still pretty much loathe Mondays. It's almost always blue. But nevermind it's ending soon.

It's Nothing Much

Finally met up with Yufang and all this evening for dinner. Yea at a long ago hangout, White Tangerine.

In the noon, went over to Suntec with QL for career and education fair... Then back to Kovan to meet yf, ch, and hy. Dinner and some games.

Huiyu old maided for 4 times straight! She's fated to be old maid la. Haha! Then walked about and home.

Yawns. Bye.

Really A 'Lion' City

Familiar with the current 9pm Channel 8 show? Also, have you watched before the Hong Kong drama - 師奶兵團, The Family Link?

They are similar. Though i don't know what the Channel 8 show is really about, i can roughly see who is who. As in which character in the Singapore version is it in the HK version.

Haiyo. Really a lion city? Yea lion is part of the cat family.

Lol. HK dramas seriously are brilliant works. Well maybe except some but certainly they deserve our attention.

I remembered i was there when i was young. Back then it was a crowded place, but now it's so empty. Nevertheless, it was still quite fun! Haha.
