Bye 2010

Last post for the year!!! Awwww, so touching..... Haha!

2010's been quite a happening year for me!

Driving license, Japan, memorable year 3.1 project group (cinnamon roll & all the happy/sad/angry times), school events, Jay Chou concert, Taiwan, SIP, Robinsons, DJG times again, Malaysia.. and more plans coming up!!

Happy that everything happened! But scary how all just came and left. Half a day more to end of 2010. Mixed feelings to know that 2011 is just a step away, not so ready yet. Gonna be a xiong start of the year with all the school work. But, tahan awhile and everything will be over! So sad...

Nevertheless, 2010 left happier memories than sad ones. Woo!!

2011 lai ba! Hope everyone had a good one, and let's all ying jie xin de yi nian! Lol!
Gong xi gong xi gong xi ni ah, gong xi gong xi gong xi ni~!

Stepping into the new decade
10 years later.............where am i???

Freaked Out

It all started when my sis wanted to buy ingredients to make her dessert...

So my siblings and I drove out near 11pm, to the 24hr Kangkar NTUC, then to Buangkok's cos there weren't the main ingredient. After that, we decided to go to the new place, Punggol Reservoir/Punggol Wetland or something like that..

It's near Anchorvale CC. I drove around there, then u-turn to stop at i dunno where, like a park, and we went across the road.

We walked down a path, wanted to check if that's the boardwalk. The lamp switched off. Then heard a guy's voice. After that a girl's voice. We went nearer to see if there were any people under the bridge. None we saw.

Then someone SCREAMED.

My brother shouted RUN! All of us ran lah!!!! Damn scary! The scream sounded quite painful. We really ran all the way back to the van. I felt like Charlie at that moment.

Damn it lah, think some malay guys just tricked us or something. My heart pumped super fast and back to the van, sweating and legs nua abit. LOL. Super scary!!!! Argh. Felt like a joker, fun yet scary.

What an experience. It's freaking midnight.

Really. Damn. Scary. I. Think. I'll. Get. Nightmare. And. So. Traumatized. I. Won't. Be. Home. Late. Anymore.

Perception - Countries

Let's say... What do you have in mind when you think of a particular place?

It's funny how this came to be one of our topics during supper. Even funnier when we share similar perceptions. Lol!

So, here's just something fun to share...

  • New Zealand - Greeneries with a small hut, with lambs and cows and other farm animals...
  • Africa - Grassland with wild animals and black people covered in leaves taking spears...
  • Saudi Arabia - Desert, with people wrapped all round in white cloth...
  • Iceland - Only a huge chunk of ice... LOL!

I bet there's still more of these, till then, when i think of them! Hahaaaaa.

Rest Of Taiwan

I'll feel so weird to be describing about the rest of my days in Taiwan cos it's been quite a while. So i shall just post some interesting photos :D

Damn nice & piping hot 鸡蛋糕!
This reminds me of somewhere in Danshui, there's a cake shop.
They wrote in English "Egg Cake". LOL.

Pumpkin noodle soup

At the end of the journey, while tapping out is the way in Singapore,
in Taiwan, you have to put it in the coin slot.
But, how you enter the platform before that?
TAP.

Pixelated graffiti

Typhoon coming

Destroyed the poles. LOL. But in actual fact, it's not serious over there in Taipei.
Like, just stronger wind.. And just nice that old lady's umbrella overturned and i got to snap. Haha!

Damn LOL la. Please left and left?!?!
Please don't ever let me hear that they have better english.
We are arguably better than them. Lol!

Their keyboard. Taken somewhere in the airport.

Bye Taiwan!
*inserts lion king's song*

Yay that's it! HAPPY "HOLIDAYS"! ^^

All Good Things Come To An End

SIP ENDED YESTERDAY!!!!!!!

No... I wasn't that excited actually. Haha! But yea a little here and there, mixed feelings yet again. Welllll.... Overall i enjoyed my SIP period. Weird? Cos usually people are complaining during their internships. Count myself lucky loh!

Let me recap, the whole SIP period was fun cos i was lucky to have Yiling as company! Also nice colleagues and manager.

Other than fast food...

We had meals at HK cafe, over to 313, and 70% of the rest at cuppage for cheap food. Haha.

Play games and take photos during our break. LOL.

Sort out metal fixtures together when i was still at level 5...

Until hand black black... (Ok, not that obvious in the pic)

Have Marche's 1-for-1 bread offer after work!

And our trip to expo sales! Hahah.

Random stuff and chats too. See what an enjoyable SIP i had? Haha! xD Thanks to those whom had participated in this period of my life! Else i guess it would have been a rockier path.

Anyhowwww, my monkey friend's back from his OSIP in China! Fetched him at the airport, then Jalan Kayu for prata together with frog!

Then yesterday, so randomly went again! Haha! Love night outings, must research for more places to go liao!

And go watch Rapunzel! It's NICE! :D & NEX is opened. Hell lots of people!!!

Taiwan Day 3

Day 3!

Heading to 新北投 for hot spring first thing in the morning!

Their MRT station. Little figurines enjoying hot spring. Haha.

Outside the 'yuan zhu ming' musuem

There's public bath where it's open to public, and open air. See the sky and trees and birds. Lol. But we didn't go for this cos there's quite a lot of people already.

We searched for this instead, recommended online, so tried it. It's by room, not public.

Our 'pool'

The guys' 'pool'. Hahaha.

'Pao' halfway we went to disiao them! Lol!

It was not bad la, real spring water. Took some time to adapt cos was really hot. And strong sulphur smell.

You can try cooking eggs uh. Can see the water boiling.

Time for some ice~~~ Told them to act sad. Lol! So contradicting, where got people eat ice-cream so sadly one. Haha.

Had their macs for lunch! Teriyaki burger. They don't have chilli sauces, no ketchup if i didn't remember wrongly too. Only sweet & sour sauce and salt & pepper satchets.

Yes, they have chicken drums too. I almost thought i was at KFC.

Next destination was 淡水! Danshui Old Street, accompanied with beautiful skies.

Yummmyyyy!!!

Omg! Spongebob helmet! Lol, so cute :D

Eat and eat!

This is called 阿给

'Gong wan' soup

Meeee suaaaaa.
But, Ah Zhong mee sua's still the best!

That white thing with greenish brown wrap is the ah gei before cooking.

Another shop's food.

Danshui old street is famous for it's snacks and pastries, and metal egg. Metal egg starting like not bad, but after that not nice leh...

Spongebob and friend's cake!! Hahaha, hai mian bao bao.

At night, went to Hua Xi street. It's a night market. Quite disppointing though, cos nothing much one! It was once famous for their snake killing thing..

That's it for Day 3! ^^

Oh ya, on the way back from hua xi street to our hotel, a golden retriever was running around on the streets and howling. Its cries were very sad. Dunno what happened. :(
